I've tried to load sessions from my external FireWire drive, my USB drive, and my internal drive but everytime I get about 20 seconds into playback then the error shows up. sounds like from what i've read PT has a Bug with disk errors.. Pro Tools has NEVER reliably recorded to the system drive. In some cases they can stop you in your tracks entirely. get redirected here have you tried copying a session to an external drive, deleting it from you audio drive, and then copying it back?
