Either in the registry or some other cab or dll file. But those are safely backed up. Its very possible if you were using the system drive as a audio drive that something got overwritten or corrupted. My session files are all there (as well as safely backed-up).

What frosts me is that the HD (indeed the PC itself)is barely 14 months old! A common power scheme should be used for the entire audio system. Check for visual contaminated BNC’s / Loose or too wobbly seated BNC connections etc … Check if a patch is used in front of the BNC’s on the units. Once you get back up and running, then I would clone the new working setup to the old drive and re-install the old drive to see how it runs. very few problems...
