We were printing from Acrobat Standard 9.0, but to test it, we changed to using the newest version of Acrobat Reader 9.3.4 with the same results. The problem falls with Adobe, not the Hp1020. I can now print okay consistently in notepad and MS Word, but not Adobe Reader - I'll talk about Reader later. The fix for this was easy enough but I thought I would share it since the option to fix it seems to fly under the radar quite a bit. 1.
