Some piece of HP printer software is STILL on my computer, disabling the Print Spooler. this has just worked for me, if you have this problem, give this a try: on the windows cd, copy SPOOLSV.EXE to C:\WINDOWS\system32. Double click on the Printer Spooler service line and you should then be click on the "Start" button if needed and make sure the Startup Type is "Automatic".Hope this helps.Grif Flag
