Beyond that, if you try a different brand of DVD-R and get the same results, replace the drive. Using Sony disks - sometimes work, sometimes don't - going to try another brand. Your writer is likely too old with outdated firmware, you're using new media to burn information too.

i chekd my IMAPI setting...it was already disabled.. but it was reading when using windows xp.plz help on this problem plz.
