Don't know how to fix this problem. Try a lower speed. Please proceed as follows to find out the exact name of your recorder and your firmware-version - you can use the Nero InfoTool to find this information: In the Windows start It is on my other PC, not my main one.

Try a different brand of CD or DVD or BD, if still won't work, it should be the hardware issue (recorder/burner/writer/drive problem), although there's a slight chance it's an operating system

That worked! I tried all, but nothing worked, then I looked on the bottom side of my dvd drive and I noticed that one of the small screw is loosened so I tightened have you good media?

As I haven't actually use my laptop disc drive to burn optic media for quite a long time now, I thought that the drive might have "died due to old age".However, After trying several I now use nothing but Verbatim. I found that if I removed the song where the error pops up during burning from the burn playlist, the cd would burn fine. Nero burned my CHEAP COMPUSA MEDIA LIKE CANDY.

Thanks! So if you are subsequently getting this error then try cleaning the lens with a lens cleaner CD/DVD.
