I am running XP SP3, and I had had some major problems with SP3 crashing my computer back in July, so maybe this IMAPI problem is related to SP3? I found that if I removed the song where the error pops up during burning from the burn playlist, the cd would burn fine. check over here
It has resolved my problem. I started up Nero and it would create an iso image, but as soon as it would try to burn, I would get the dreaded power calibration error message. Its worth spending a dollar. Try different configurations, such as taking the CD-ROM to the primary IDE bus as slave and have only the recorder connected to the secondary IDE bus as master. http://www.megaleecher.net/Fix_Power_Calibration_Error
