How to restore it...? what i tried is leave the dvd inside the drive for about 40 minutes and then it worked!!!!! that's all..may be the laser is dusty.. Its worth spending a dollar.

So if you are subsequently getting this error then try cleaning the lens with a lens cleaner CD/DVD. Some good brands to use are JVC, Verbatim, and Falcon.
