As long as I used the 112 BK, the burn process always succesfull, until I bought the 117BK. Power Calibration Area (PCA) is an area on CD/DVD/BD that is used by the recorder/burner/writer to find out how powerful the laser needs to be to successfully write to the disc. I had the power calibration problem which I solved by using a lens cleaner cd(I was skeptical abt it but it did work). Read comments and someone suggested cleaning the lens with a cotton bud.
