Power Calibration Error Nero

Both my internal DVD burner - NEC ND-3550A and external DVD burner - LG GE20LU11 have failed giving me error's like "could not perform Disc-at-once", "Session Fixing Error" or "Power Calibration All rights reserved. I have 2 burners in my XP box: LG + Samsung. Update the firmware of your recorder.

The problem in 112BK solved by disabling IMAPI service. The 7190a does minimal burning so it is of secondary importance. The Power Calibration Error doesn't necessarily mean the disk is destroyed. So I was like, what the heck, disassebled the drive to see if there's any obvious problems like failing capacitors or dirty lens. Pls.

i wouldnt fix this problem if it wasnt for you giving the idea of IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service.

  1. I didn't realise that turning writing off using the inbuilt explorer "burn to CD" option didn't actually diable the Imapi service - it was apparently loaded when writing to a disc!

  5. Before on another system, a bad cable gave errors but to have this occur on two different systems seems low.

Please remove any other recording program you may have on your system and be sure all their drivers are removed as well. Nero's guide on how to read the log file: There are two rather old guides on how to read the log files from Nero. useless OEM rubbish. I heard some of the TDK media swapped manufacturers, and now coaster rate is a bit higher.

Try lowering the burn speed from Auto/Max to 10/24 and burn your CD/DVD/Blu-Ray (use half the max speed supported by the media). 5. More about the author Nero 9 is an epic fail, stay away from it.
