Do you mean to press eject and then pull on that little piece of plastic where the CD goes until it pops out? It works with all types of videos and music (both with DVDs and CDs). Check This Out There are some drives that absolutely detest certain brand names and won't see them at all no matter what you do...which is why I actually have two cd burner devices installed
