Considering that I had used the camera for three years, and it was out of warranty, I was happy with the result. Ensure lens mechanism is clear of dirt/sand/etc... Matias,As mentioned, these fixes only seem to work for less than half of lens errors. I tried pulling the lens to keep if from going back in, but that did not work. Also, I do not recommend probing too deeply around the lens barrel with the paper (don't go more than a 1 cm or 1/2 in) .
